Ascendancy

Ascendancy is tabletop board game. It’s also the name of the world the game takes place in. It was designed by a crazy person, who wanted
to push the boundaries of progression in a tabletop format to the limit.

As the name implies, almost everything, and everyone in Ascendancy can be upgraded, and made more powerful.

Victory or defeat however, is determined by how well you or your teammates adapt to unforeseen variables. The game rewards long term strategic thinking, short term tactical decisions, minimizing unnecessary risk, pushing your luck, and outmaneuvering your rivals.
